TV & Film Manager

Vicky

Vicky was a police officer within the Metropolitan Police for almost 28 years up until 2024 when she decided
on a change of career.

During her time in the police, she served many years on the front line working in emergency response. Then became highly skilled to work in a command-and-control aspect of policing where she excelled in working in the met police’s special operations room.

She is experienced in working for the senior command
teams that manage the command and control of
large-scale events within London, ranging from
spontaneous incidents such as terrorist attacks and
major public disorder, and also large pre-planned events
such as royal weddings and funerals, large sporting
events and pre-arranged demonstrations and events
such as the Notting Hill Carnival and the London Marathon involving hundreds of thousands of attendees.

This is a role that requires excellent communication skills and management of resources. Through this role she also has become skilled in the use and monitoring of CCTV.

She is also trained in the recovery and identification of victims of mass fatality incidents and is a nationally accredited trainer in this specialism. She has attended multiple high profile mass fatality and major incidents,
often as a team leader.

Some of the skills Vicky is trained in are disaster
victim identification, CBRN, EDBA, ropes and line
access work, confined space working, Emergency Life Support, Urban Search & rescue/recovery, and TRIM.

She has excellent communication skills, and a good awareness of her surroundings. Her proficiency in communication and resource management, along
with her ability to work both independently and as
part of a team, further enhances her capabilities in
various situations.
