Amazing, you just saved a life!
One of our door supervisors sprang into action and saved a man’s life after he had a heart attack and collapsed onto the bathroom floor at Pitcher & Piano in Tunbridge Wells.
Door supervisor Justin was asked to go to the toilets to what he originally thought was an altercation.
When he got there, he found a member of the public collapsed on the floor, and soon realised how serious things were.
The 46-year-old, who lives in the town, said: “When I got there, there was an unconscious male lying on the floor. He was clutching his chest to which I radioed through to call an ambulance, I then realised he was in a lot more distress than just being unconscious and I started giving him CPR. I gave it to him for, I think, over 10 minutes.”
Justin managed to revive the man, who appeared to be in his late 30s, twice and he was taken to hospital in an ambulance shortly after.
We have been in contact with the gentleman and he is as well as he can be”.
